Cause & Cocktails gathered community, cocktails, and conversation for A Juneteenth Celebration of Joy, an evening supporting Birthday Bash Box and its mission to make sure every child has the opportunity to feel seen, celebrated, and loved on their birthday.
The evening centered joy as something worth protecting, creating, and sharing — while introducing guests to the people and purpose behind an organization bringing meaningful birthday experiences to children across Houston.
The Cause
Celebrating every child.
Birthday Bash Box is a Black-founded Houston nonprofit that creates personalized birthday celebrations for children who might otherwise go without one.
During the evening, guests learned more about the organization's work, the families it serves, and its vision for expanding its reach across Houston — including the pursuit of a new space that would allow Birthday Bash Box to serve significantly more children each year.
Cause & Cocktails created an opportunity to experience that mission beyond the numbers: to understand what it means for a child to have a moment that is completely theirs.
